Dolly-Parton

Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She was raised with twelve other kids. Her vivid imagination helped her escape from the pressures of daily life. Before learning how to read and write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own songs. In the year she turned 8years old, she purchased her first electric guitar. She began singing on the Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. Gold Band Records is a tiny, independent label. While she was a local star while in High School, she knew her goals were greater. On the 14th of March, 1964, following her graduation from high-school the singer moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner began looking for new female vocalists for his television show that was syndicated approximately the exact as the time. Parton began her career in 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, she joined the Grand Ole Opry. It was not until 1974 when she made the decision to quit Wagoner's show because the success of her individual records including Joshua Coat, Many Colors and Jolene exceeded their collective efforts. Parton's hit song, I'll Never Love You (for Wagoner), was able to reach the number. 1 spot after they broke up. It was the first time a song reached No.
