Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host popular as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl was born and lived in Little Rock. Sheryl comes out of the midst of a difficult background. She spent the majority of her childhood caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. As she grew older, there were many arguments with her mom. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he got too close to Her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she was drafted into the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the only female to make it through the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular performer in the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been co-hosting the talk show. She's appeared in fictitious series such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
