Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and actor best known for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has an extended family with a lot of problems. Sheryl spent the majority of her youth caring for her sister Frankie, who had polio. As a teenager, she was plagued by problems with her mother. Sheryl asserts that, at one point she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to Her. Sheryl when she graduated from college, joined the army. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. Also, she's been a fictional character in programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
